Global Entrepreneurship Week
Global Entrepreneurship Week (15-21 November 2010) is an international celebration of enterprise and entrepreneurship with thousands of events and activities happening across the UK and throughout the rest of the world. Entrepreneurship is a fantastic skill for young people to develop and can have wide reaching implications for some of society’s biggest issues, from poverty reduction through to climate change.
As part of Global Entrepreneurship Week 2010, SCIntillate will be offering 10 schools in the North Wales area the opportunity to take part in our “Solutions for the Future” Challenge. Groups of children from years 10 or 11 will be asked to design a product or service with a sustainable focus, prepare a simple business and marketing plan and deliver a sales pitch to the challenge judges. The challenge is run over a morning or an afternoon and up to 60 students can participate. Participating schools will receive a Global Entrepreneurship Week certificate of participation. Please contact us to book your place and help foster the minds of the future!
